Two big things happening in April!
First big thing
So, I am bubbling with anticipation for the D800! I do not know when I will get it

I have ordered it but have no idea if I made first shipment or not.... From everything I have seen and read this is the camera that will bring Dslr to the next level! Many pros say its the best camera out under 10k! God knows the lens will cost me almost that so this better be! I will admit as I started to hear more and more about this camera now that some people have go there hands on it, I got a little nervous. People are saying that if you do not know what you are doing you will get a lot of noise. I generally run into allot of noise in my photos so I got scared! Then my buddy Mark reminded me this will help me fine tune my skillz as it is less forgiven so it will force me to to adjust to it. Thanks mark
[link] ! Well this will be my First pro Camera I am so excited to get it! I have so many projects coming up in the near future and cannot wait to use the D800 on them.
I will miss Canon for about a month and after that I probably will not even remember what they were like. (for all you canon lovers do not take that as a knock on canon its just that once you use something for a bit you get so used to it you forget what other cameras are like)
The Second Big thing
My girlfriend is coming to spend a week with me at the start of April! She even wants to go on a Easter day photo shoot with me and my buddy Mark
[link] ! Then she is going to cook me and Mark
[link] Easter Dinner!! (I still have no clue how I got so lucky to find a girl like her!) Anyway, we have been forced to do a long distance relationship for a bit, but hopefully In January she will be moving in with me! She also is interested in doing photography with me and Mark once she is down here, this will add a 4th person to our growing group as we just picked up another friend of ours Brian
[link] two weeks ago.
Anyway I will talk to you all later
Joe
and January is just a short time away really.. (assuming the Myans aren't right!)
i can relate to the excitement,
The D800 is a technician's studio type camera. Need best glass and best settings for it to perform very well.
Another question, why swapping system like that? You should stick to one brand and build a solid lens collection for you to dig in after. Bodies will always change. To be honest, the 5D Mark III sounds a much better camera (Yes, I said it. I shoot Nikon and I am myself a Nikon fanboy xD). Reason why? 12,500iso no real problem and 22mpx. That's a lot! With 12 megapixels I can print 40"x60" with good files (Good RAW files, good lenses, good exposure)
Concerning noise, I know that 3200 is safe. As a studio camera and this pixel counts, I don't know other camera capable of this.
